TST - Bite Me

This is ONE of the stories that shattered my Mother's image of me being a perfect angel when I was little! Although I seemed sweet and innocent, I was a little bit sneaky and naughty. I know! It's hard to believe! I may have snuck huge handfulls of parmesan cheese out of the fridge and kept a scooper of Tang behind the couch so I could stick my tongue in the cup any time I wanted a sweet snack.

Those were minor offenses compared to this story of a mean little girl!

I think I was almost 6 years old and my sister, Bre, was 18 months. I believe we were making a cross country trip in the big blue station wagon and I was bored. Since we were not in seatbelts or carseats, I invited my sister to join me in the very back of the car. I wanted to test something.

My brother and sister, twins, liked to entertain themselves by biting eachother (my twins did this too).
I had never been bitten before.
I told her to bite me.
She happily obliged.
I cried.
She got in trouble!

OH, that is SO not nice. I confessed and apologized many years ago.
Sorry Again Bre!!

I just wanted to share this story for my Sis who is having a bit of surgery tomorrow.
We Love You Unkie B!!!

Here is a pic of me and all my sibs, a few years after this incident:

Monday Mugs! - Watermelon

Are you in need of a mindless Monday Blog post? Are you struggling to deal with the weekend being over and can't muster the strength to type a single word? Well, Monday Mugs are for YOU! I am going to "borrow" ideas from IheartFaces and post my interpretation of their weekly theme. Without submitting my photo for judgement and not being forced to follow the rules.
Mondays are hard! Blogging on Mondays shouldn't be!

This week's theme is "Desserts"
This is a very convenient time for me to start this meme, because I can not take interesting photos of food! Unless you wanted to see pictures of all of my kids' birthday cakes, I would be stuck with no photos to share! I do, however, have plenty of pictures of my kiddos enjoying dessert! One of our favorites and my take on this week's theme:  Watermelon.

Whew! That was easy!

Quick Trip

Over Spring Break, we decided to take a quick little trip South. Only 1.5 hours South to be exact. Any time we stay in a hotel it is a perfect vacation for the kids!

All they need is a pool, and this one was heated!!

The next morning we visited a really cool Airplane Museum. We love airplanes!

It was hard to get shots of the planes that were inside, but isn't this thing cool? Can you imagine seeing this land on the water? I would be in heaven!

Used by Presidents Kennedy and Johnson.

This plane was one we hadn't seen before and one of our new favorites!

It is HUGE!!!

This is my favorite! What I wouldn't give to see this thing fly!

Miss Daisy enjoying a little rest on her Daddy's shoulder.

Ok, I have decided to start a little meme around here! Everyone is doing it, right? I really appreciate days when I can just post a quick picture and not worry about lots of writing. So I am going to use the theme from IheartFaces and post a picture of my interpretation of their theme. Maybe even more than one photo! No judging. No rejection. Swing on by on Monday if you would like to join in!

LOI - Dear Julie

Foursons

Dear Julie,

Happy Day After April Fools Day! I hope you have fully recovered from "Operation Punk Julie"! I really didn't think you would fall for it! When I woke up Thursday morning and read your post, I thought "SHE KNOWS! She's just writing this post to mess with us!" I didn't think you would believe that that many people would be crazy enough to unfollow YOU! I never participate in April Fools pranks but I just couldn't resist messing with your Blog Domination plans for just a minute! The fact that you got a few extra followers out of the deal really helps with any guilt that may have been involved on my part. I hoped, in the end, you would see that we all did it out of love!

Did you really think that that many people would unfollow you in one day?

Yours truly,
A loyal follower who may be trying to suck up just a bit to make sure there are no hard feelings.

Go visit Julie at Foursons to see how everyone else apologized/explained our April Fools day prank!

Thank You Very Much - Mean Old Lady!

I need some serious therapy this week! Thanks to Kmama for offering free therapy!

To the old lady who we passed on our walk the other day, Thank You Very Much. After my children very kindly stopped their bikes and made sure she had enough room to pass us on the sidewalk she decided to have this conversation with me:

old lady: That is quite a crew you have there!(translation-You have way too many kids!)
me: Yes, I know.

old lady: You certainly have your hands full!
me: Yes.

old lady: How old is this one? (pointing to Daisy)
me: 18 months

old lady: OH BOY! She's gonna be starting the terrible two's soon!
me: She's a piece of cake! I survived the terrible two's with twin boys so I can definantly handle her.

old lady: Well, you're a better woman than me (translation-I would never be crazy enough to experience THAT many terrible two's!)
me: *sarcastic, annoyed laughing*

Stupid Old Lady: And you've got another one on the way?

in my head: WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

me: NO! (resist the urge to slap her and RUN AWAY)

Thank You Very Much Lady, I will need long term therapy due to our chat!

Okie Dokie, go visit Kmama at The Daily Dribbles to hear/share more therapy sessions!
