I need some serious therapy this week! Thanks to Kmama for offering free therapy!
To the old lady who we passed on our walk the other day, Thank You Very Much. After my children very kindly stopped their bikes and made sure she had enough room to pass us on the sidewalk she decided to have this conversation with me:
old lady: That is quite a crew you have there!(translation-You have way too many kids!)
me: Yes, I know.
old lady: You certainly have your hands full!
me: Yes.
old lady: How old is this one? (pointing to Daisy)
me: 18 months
old lady: OH BOY! She's gonna be starting the terrible two's soon!
me: She's a piece of cake! I survived the terrible two's with twin boys so I can definantly handle her.
old lady: Well, you're a better woman than me (translation-I would never be crazy enough to experience THAT many terrible two's!)
me: *sarcastic, annoyed laughing*
Stupid Old Lady: And you've got another one on the way?
in my head: WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
me: NO! (resist the urge to slap her and RUN AWAY)
Thank You Very Much Lady, I will need long term therapy due to our chat!

Oh no. She broke the cardinal rule of what not to EVER say to another woman. Next time have your "gaggle" of kids trip her on the sidewalk! ha!

As always, I'm laughing so hard! Not very nice at all - haha! I liked the whole 'what you were thinking in your head'. Seriously - how do you react to that?
She obviously forgot the rule that you don't ask if someone is expecting until they are at least 30 weeks along and very very obviously pregnant :)
