Just a Few Photos

I tortured the entire family the other day and made them pose for pictures!

The older kids are always very helpful and smile and hold still for their pictures. So I only have to take a few pictures of them to get good results. As you know, Daisy is not quite as accomodating. When I take her pictures, I just shoot and shoot and shoot and hope that I get atleast 1 good shot. Check out my options from this photo shoot:

I tried to get a group shot. Yeah right Mom!

Blog Gap - Blog Hop - and A Happy Birthday

Whew! It's been too long since I posted! Here is the reason for the gap:
I volunteered to help Bailey's teacher cut out these bears. I don't know exactly what they are for but there were a ton! Also, you'd think after 10 years of scrapbooking I would have better scissor skills! It took me forever and when I was done my hand hurt so bad I had to give it a break! OK, moving on!

The theme for the Blog Hop this week is "Baby Pics." I decided to post baby pics of the whole family. It's kinda fun to see how we all compare.

And last but not least, we want to wish Grandma B a very Happy Birthday. Grandma doesn't get sound on the computer she uses so we made her a silent movie. If you have sound, that is Daisy in the background begging to be put to bed!
Happy Birthday Grandma!

What Would Your Children Say?

Ok, I know I'm late, but I couldn't miss out on sharing another funny story. Lily likes me to re-tell her this story all the time!

Lily was 4 and we were in a public bathroom. There was someone in the stall next to us.

Lily said (not quietly) "Wow! It really stinks in here. I think someone is going poo!"

I put my finger to my mouth to try to keep her from saying anything else, but she responded by saying (not quietly) "Why do we have to be quiet?"

OH THE EMBARRASSMENT! And Comedy!

Here are a few pictures of all the kiddos around this time:

I love to look at old pictures and reminisce about old times! I hope you don't mind!

Blog Hop - Favorite Photos

Luckily, I didn't use all of my favorite photos in the last fave photo blog hop! Here are a couple more!

SistersDo you think these two like eachother? Hard to tell! Lily likes to close her bedroom door, turn her music up really loud and dance in her room. Daisy has joined her on a few occasions. Now, whenever Daisy hears Lily's music she goes nuts. She starts dancing and crawls as fast as she can toward Lily's room. Yesterday I thought she was going to bounce right out of her walker she was jumping and dancing so hard.

Brothers
Usually when I see this scene, I am sitting on the couch looking out the window and wishing I had my camera. But on this lucky day I had my camera around my neck when I witnessed my two boys heading out to the sandbox together. I just flicked a tear off my cheek from remembering.

Blog Hop - Favorite Kid Pics

Well, I have a FEW favorite pics of my kiddos! I had decided to pick two pics of each babe, but as I was searching for those, I came across some other shots that just couldn't be left out!

This is from one of our summer stay-cations. Ashton has his poolside beverage.

She was a drama queen even at this age! I set her in this chair to try to get a picture and she started bawling! One minute later, I sat down with her in the chair and she was ALL smiles!

One of the things I love about this picture, besides the darling girl with the huge piece of watermelon, is the background. My Mom's yard made an EXCELLENT backdrop!

Everyone wearing their hats that Grandma made.

Check out his chubby, dimpled hands. He was a little chubby once!

Poor little beat-up boy! His head always seems to be the most injured!
Doesn't Bailey just look so happy to be on his new bike? And you can see a little bit of curly hair!
A Little Photogenic!

My two guys on the way to their first day of preschool. They were not quite 3 yet. I'm not sure how I manged to say goodbye without completely losing it!
Funny Baby!
Miss Daisy's Cute Toes

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I used to glue bows to Lily's head ALL the time, but not so much with Daisy. I really like her glued-on bow and silly scrunched up smiley face!
