Monday Mugs - Pets

Are you in need of a mindless Monday Blog post? Are you struggling to deal with the weekend being over and can't muster the strength to type a single word? Well, Monday Mugs is for YOU! I may or may not "borrow" ideas from IheartFaces and post my interpretation of their weekly theme. Without submitting my photo for judgement and without being forced to follow the rules.

Mondays are hard! Blogging on Mondays shouldn't be!

Today's theme for Monday Mugs is: Pets
_______________________

I know I had a "Pets" theme not too long ago, so for this post I decided to share some photos of a pet from our past.

Meet Mrs. Tinklestein!
She showed up on our doorstep, crying, on a freezing cold morning. She was tiny! One of the neighbor kids took her home but after a few days brought the kitty over and said they weren't going to be able to keep her. Lily and I BEGGED DaddyO to let us keep her. He reluctantly agreed.

Tinkles was a very good kitty!
She let Lily carry her around like a baby doll.

She would play computer games with Lily.

She would sit on the edge of the tub while Lily took a bath. Don't cats hate water? Tinkles rarely escaped the bathroom dry!
Sadly, DaddyO started having allergy/asthma issues and we had to give Mrs. Tinklestein away. I REALLY wish we could have cats!!!
And a special bonus, just for you! I came across these darling pictures of the original Cutie. I couldn't resist!!

Mr. Tinkles is sooo sweet. Sorry you had to give him up. I can not get over how much hair Lily had, it is beautiful, she is beautiful.

Hope you had a great weekend!

Umm... am I the only one who figured someone wouldn't be able to keep a cat named "Tinkles"? Tell me he was housebroke ;)

He is so pretty! And ohmygoodness how much hair on Lily! That is just unfair :) She is darling!

Pets are soooo much fun! I love the bathtub picture! What a hoot!

That cat was really friendly, wasn't she? Most cats I know are afraid of people and won't "pose" for pictures.

Lily is and was such a beauty!

Look at Lily...so little! She is adorable!

Awwww! Adorable. :) Bubba had a kitty named Clarabelle that was super good about him squeezing her and carrying her around.

I am amazed at Lily's CUTE hair! Did she sit still and let you fix it like that? Lil' Bub runs when he sees me coming with a brush. I mean, not that I'd braid his hair or anything 'cause he's a boy, ahem, but he HATES the brush.

Now, I'm not really a cat person but she does seem like a sweet one!

How sweet! Both the cat and your Lily!
I'm a total cat person so I feel your pain about not being able to have a cat!

Good thing Lily is so cute or you would have to have named your blog something else. I loved the way you fixed her hair in those last pictures.
