We started our festivities on Wednesday and visited a local town to see their Christmas tree made entirely out of tumble weeds.
Later that night we went to a local place that has lots of fun christmas lights.
Pretty much every inch of the place was covered in lights.
They had a bunch a pretty Nativity Scenes.
Daisy sat in her stroller and didn't budge or make a peep the entire time!
Christmas Eve morning we decided to make gingerbread houses.
We made a HUGE mess, but we had a great time making these beauties!
For dinner, the kids got to make snowman pizzas. I got the brilliant idea from Julie.
Lily gave her snowman hair.
Daisy enjoyed everyone's creations!
After dinner, we roasted marshmallows in the backyard.
Everyone got to open one present before bed.
It's always the same...........new jammies.
Here's the tree before the Oswald Tornado hit and sent wrapping paper flying in every direction!
Did you notice the patch of lights that aren't lit?
And finally the big day arrived! Just wait until you see how many pictures I took on Christmas Day!
I got ONE picture of Daisy playing on her new toy and I got a picture of our breakfast. Daddy and I made a team effort and whipped up breakfast pie and my Mom made and delivered a delicious tea ring! After that I was very busy opening up plastic packaging and installing many many batteries!
And I am finally done!
Any big plans for New Year's?

I'm laughing at all the pics you took on Christmas day. I didn't seem to get as many as I would have liked either! Us moms just don't get to that camera enough, huh!
Looks like so much fun all the stuff you did from the outings to the pizza/snowmen to the gingerbread houses. Love the new pj's!
Glad you had a great time!!!
BAHAHAHAHA! Two pics?! You are too funny. Well, you got some great ones from your outings... the lights, the tumble weed tree (crazy), etc.
We do Christmas jammies too. I think it's the only time kids get excited about clothes! :)
It looks so warm where you're at. I'm telling you, snow is not all it's cracked up to be. Loved the picture of the tumbleweed tree. Also loved the row of pictures of your kids in their new jammies. Looks like you had a fun time. I enjoyed hearing about your holidays.
LOVE that tumbleweed tree. How creative is that? : ) I am surprised it doesn't blow away! : )
What a fun Christmas you had. Very special! I know what you mean about the Christmas morning chaos of gift wrapping being thrown every which way! Crazy, right? : ) Have a wonderful new year with your sweet family!
you know even though you have 2 pics you were probably IN on the action...I was too busy saying "look at mommie", "show it to mommie"...it's a sickness...I can't help myself!!!!
looks like a wonderful Christmas to me!! :)
Those pizzas are so cute!
Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas! I had four separate Christmas celebrations, and I'm still trying to weed through all the pictures.
What happened to the lights on the tree?
Those pictures were great. What a fun time you all had. Your ginger bread houses turned out great too. I can't believe that you only got 2 pictures on Christmas. You probably enjoyed it more too! Love the jammie shots.

Tree is so cool. We lived in Palm Springs for almost a year when I was growing up and I have always been fascinated with tumbleweeds! And I LOVE the snowman pizzas...I'm totally swiping that idea. What kind of crust did you use?
