This is what we see when we go to get Daisy out of her crib. She scoots to the end of her bed and pushes down the bumper pads so she can see the door. She also does this when I put her in her bed to sleep but she doesn't smile like that at bedtime!

Here is Lily practicing some soccer moves! I had a really funny picture and story to tell you about Lily, but she has threatened to never speak to me again if I post anything about it! I will talk to her and maybe we'll share the story another day! I am giggling right now just thinking about it!

This is what I see when I pick the kids up from school. They are all so excited to see me they run to the car. Yeah right! Bailey doesn't fly to me EVERY day!

This is what happens when Ashton has chocolate pudding for a snack: a mustache and chin goatee. Funny funny! On an unrelated note, at school, on Earth Day they were talking about different ways to help the planet. I guess they talked about how everyone should turn their power off for 60 seconds that night. When Ashton got home from school he said "Mom, if you power down today, you will turn green!"

Daisy loved Lily's Birthday balloons. Ashton snuck them out of Lily's room and Daisy was chasing him all over the upstairs trying to get them from him!

He's actually been doing this for a while but I FINALLY remembered to get a picture of Bailey riding his bike with NO training wheels. He likes to ride in the rocks and hits any bumps he can! On Easter he wanted everyone to come out and see how he could ride so we all watched from the driveway while he rode up and down the sidewalk. As he was riding by the neighbors he was watching us and didn't see the big truck that was partially parked on the sidewalk. He slammed right in to the truck and we had to pull him and his bike out from underneath the truck. Luckily he is a big fan of the helmet, knee pads and elbow pads!

Daisy is really getting to be a good scooter! She's getting fast and thinks she's very special because she can now escape from her room! You have to see it from both angles to really get the full effect!

Easter

These are some pics of the kids in their Easter clothes. I don't know why, but I seem to have a hard time getting pictures of dying and hunting the eggs. Goals for next year: Get shots of easter fun, not just posed shots and take some pictures outside! The weather was PERFECT on Easter but by the time the lighting was perfect outside, the easter outfits were removed or covered in food. Bailey uses his shirts as napkins! It is very difficult to get 4 kids to ALL sit perfectly and smile at the same time for a picture! Donn tried to help make them smile, but you can see who was most entertained by him.
No problems with these two! Smiling and perfectly posed. I think Daisy-scissorhands touched her eye just before I took the pictures. She has the very sensitive skin that turns red if you barely touch her!

Lily's shots took about 1 minute! Very cooperative!!! She has the most experience! Love!

Here are my two, very different, boys. They really needed haircuts! But they sure are cute!!

Ashton kept smiling a fake smile so I was trying to make him laugh. What makes a 5 year old boy laugh? I can't share the things I was saying. potty talk!

Bailey wasn't in the mood for pictures and I had to do a LITTLE threatening, involving easter candy. I know, I know! Bad Mommy! He sure ended up smiling cute for his pictures though!

I took these pics of Daisy on Monday, after her red eye was gone. And because she doesn't tolerate long photo sessions like the other kids do.

Preston came to play for Easter and I stepped outside and got a lot of great shots of him in about 5 minutes. Grandma Lindy requested some photos of Preston and Teak months ago. Mission accomplished!

Happy Birthday Lily! We Love YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Today is my First Baby's 9th Birthday! Why does time go by so fast?! She started out and still is PERFECT!(with only occasional clothes-wearing drama!) She is such a good helper! She helped me when I had the boys and she LOVES to help out with her little sister. I don't know what I would do without her! She always plays fun things with the boys (school, pirates, family, soccer, shows, dancing). She is an excellent dancer and I occaionally hear her doing a little "opera" when she's by herself in her room! We are so proud of her and love her soooooooooooooo much!! Check out my beautiful 9 year old!

We had a little party for her yesterday while everyone was here for Easter. Donn made her cake!

I GOT IT!

Our downstairs bathroom has naked pictures of Lily, Ashton and Bailey. There has been an empty frame hanging since we found out I was pregnant with Daisy (12/07). I've tried twice to take pictures of her and I just wasn't getting the shot I wanted. She was covering her face or not being modest enough, etc. Well the Third Times the charm for Daisy's naked photo shoot! Now I have too many perfect shots and I can't decide which one to pick. Please help! If you can, please let me know which one of these you like best. Thanx!

Little Miss Daisy E

Oh, Daisy is now 7 months old. She is sooooooo cute!

LOOK!

Look who can sit up all by herself! Such a big girl. She still tips backwards sometimes so we usually put someone or something behind her to catch her fall.

Donn took a day off work last week and took the kids (and my dad) to a spring training baseball game. They had so much fun! They saw a Diamondback/A's game. The boys both got their mits signed and they heckled someone until he gave them a signed ball. I have no idea who the players were! Sorry, not in to baseball!

The boys just started t-ball. They are both having fun trying out a different sport.

Recent comedy:

Bailey has started telling everyone that he is allergic to cats. He's never been around cats. Donn and my Dad have talked about being allergic to cats so maybe he is trying to be like them. Then this morning while I was changing Daisy's messy diaper Ashton said he was allergic to poopy diapers. He'll have to remember that some day!

The boys have started to like playing Go-Fish. I was playing with Ashton the other day and I thought he was telling me to "Go'ed Fish" but then I realized he was saying "GoldFish!"

Last night Ashton kept coming to me and letting me know when Lily and Bailey were misbehaving. I was seeing him about EVERY minute! I said "Ash, you don't have to tattle about every little thing they are doing wrong!" and he said "Mo-om! That my job!!!"

Yesterday we were treated to a dance program by Lily. She even gave us tickets to get in to her room. It was a beautiful performance and she danced to the Nutcracker!

They set up tables all over the upstairs. They used pillows as tables and big trucks as chairs.

This was the only real set-up they had. Ashton's restaurant only served soup and water. And I think Bailey was letting him know that it was a little overpriced!

Miss Daisy with her feet up, enjoying a book! and look, I need to put an outlet cover in that outlet!!

Look who, willingly, eats baby food now! I think she's figured it out and she even enjoys her green beans!
