The Daily Dribbles

Oh Yeah! It's FREE Therapy Day courtesy of Kmama at The Daily Dribbles!

To myself, for accidentally forgetting to unthaw the dough to make hamburger buns! Forcing me to order pizza instead of making hamburgers for dinner, Thank You Very Much! Not only did I not have to cook, because I made the kids use napkins for plates, I didn't have to do dishes! Love ya Forgetful Brain!

To my Smarter Than Me Children, Thank You Very Much for coming up with new and interesting ways to get out of eating your dinner. The other night, DaddyO caught Bailey trying to leave the table looking like this:
Sir? I know your older sister taught you this and I'm sure it has worked for you in the past, but we don't think it's funny to cram as much food as you can in to your mouth and then go spit it out in the toilet! (actually DaddyO and I both think that is hilarious) Please don't start hiding napkins full of food in the cupboards, like your sister does, Thank You Very Much!

Seriously?!?! They try the "spit-out" trick and it works?!?! :) My mom never let us get away with that.

Though after my little sister finally moved out of the house, my mom discovered why all her plants had been dying. My sister had been planting her vitamins in them for years, LOL!

I love that your husband thought to take a picture of the goofy moment!

(And YAY for pizza night! :)

Wait. A. Minute... you MAKE your own buns????!!! Seriously?! You do get Mom of the Year! ;)

Today I found Lil' Bub hiding his half-eaten PB&J under some garbage in the can so I wouldn't see it!

Hey, maybe if I tried the go-spit-it-out trick I wouldn't be dealing with the thighs I have now. Hmmmm.

I used to try the napkin trick all the time, and even once did the old "pockets" trick (yuck), but I never attempted the stuff-your-mouth-til-you-look-like-a-chipmunk-saving-acorns-for-winter look! How cute!

And am I getting this right-- you MAKE your own hamburger buns?? I've never heard of that!

WTH? You make your own hamburger buns? That makes me, what a total failure as a wife/domestic diva? LOL!!! Good for you!

LOL at Bailey and Lily. They are truly a pair, huh?

Okay that is too too funny! I will just have to make sure my kids don't see this.

Oh I remember those days. My brother and I use to throw our food any place we could. My Round Robin is Tomorrow if you want to stop by.

Oh ew! If they are going to put it in their mouths anyway, why not just swallow it? Hilarious!

Oh I love it when I forget dinner prep and get to order out.
Thankfully my kids have not tried that trick.

Wish I would have thought of spitting my food in the toilet when I was a kid.

I may or may not have intentionally forgotten to pull out the chicken yesterday making us eat out instead.

My daughter has taught her older brother bad things...climbing out of cribs, over fences, marking on walls, cutting wit scissors. I'm dreading high school when she arrives two years later and teaches him how to skip class and cut school and forge notes from me.
