Today is a very sad day for me! It is the last regularly scheduled and linkied Thank You Very Much! I will miss my weekly FREE therapy!

In honor of TYVM, and because I have a blaring headache, I am going to relive some of my best TYVM moments from the past year. I'm going to make you relive them too! Bwahahahahaha

To my eyebrow for requiring wax and painful strips for me to be seen in public. And once I have separated you, leaving me with an attractive rash/acne in the area where you used to reside. You are making it impossible for me to leave the house, Thank You Very Much!   3-11-10

To the person at our house who was responsible for giving Daisy a bath the other night. Thank you very much for keeping an eye on her from the other room where I know you could see her but couldn't get there fast enough to stop her from pulling my towels in to the tub with her. Then after realizing she was probably done playing in the tub, washing her hair before you got her out of the tub. I'm sure it was shocking when after the third cup of water to rinse the shampoo you noticed an odd object floating in the tub. Yes indeed, Daisy had pooped in the tub. So, now my towels, EVERY bathtub toy, the tub and Daisy needs to be disinfected Thank You Very Much! Who could this unnamed person be? I'll give you one guess!  3-18-10

To the lady at the baseball game who shared her crack with us the entire game, Thank You Very Much. EVERY time she would lean forward to get her drink, her 'way too low rider' pants would sink further down and reveal way too much of her very unattractive g-string! We're here for some baseball, not a peep show, Thank You Very Much. Get some pants that fit your fat bumper!  4-29-10

To HeatherOz, for trying to walk through a door while holding two babies without turning sideways! Yep! Poor Daisy got a small surprise when her little head bumped(not hard) the door frame. Screw your head on tight HO(my initials), Thank You Very Much!  5-6-10

To Kmama for publishing a post about adult acne problems. Thank You Very Much! Your blog is contagious! After reliving my lifelong acne troubles and proceeding to have an anxiety attack remembering high school, I now have a huge, blind zit on my neck! It is very painful AND very unattractive. Maybe if I didn't have so many wrinkles, people would just think I was a pimply teenager! Ha Ha Ha! I ♥ ya Kmama! Just letting you know you are not alone!  5-20-10

To the nasty bug, that I thanked last week for making Daisy sick, Thank You Very Much for making Ashton, Bailey AND me sick! I told you NOT to come near us! You've turned us in to a Chorus of Coughers that can repel people wherever we go!

To my curling iron, Thank You very Much for jumping out of my hands, rolling down my arm and leaving a very attractive blister! Work with me!

To my overwhelming To Do list this week, Thank You Very Much for making it impossible for me to keep up with all my bloggy friends! I promise to catch up this weekend!

To Bailey, Thank You Very Much for taking my cell phone with you to the bathroom and proceeding to call me EVERY 1.5 minutes on the home phone. Get a book Bay! I am not your 'potty entertainment'!

To my alarm clock, Thank You Very Much for allowing me to completely sleep through hitting the snooze button TWICE before I realized I needed to get my butt out of bed! Get off the easy listening channel and turn yourself up a few notches! Your current settings are ineffective!

To the Lady who parked her car in the parent pick-up lane at school, Thank You Very Much for forcing me to roll down my window and point out that you were blocking traffic! Can't you see the cars moving ahead of you and the big line of cars, waiting to move forward, behind you? Get back in your car!!!!!!!!! (I asked her in a much nicer way through gritted teeth)

Thank You Very Much to Daisy's new obsession with "DaBBa"(yo gabba gabba). I CAN NOT get those annoying educational songs out of my head! "Don't bite your friends! Don't bite your friends!"

To the mosquitoes, Thank You Very Much for cutting short our trip to the park yesterday morning and our bike ride/walk last night. It's been hours since we were outside and we are all still smacking arms and legs and heads, unconsciously thinking you are still there! Oh, and this morning? Bailey is covered in humongous mosquito bites. Ashton and I have little nibbles but nothing like poor Bailey.

To the weather, Thank You Very Much for acting like it is still the middle of July! 109 degrees is too hot for me to sit in the shade while watching my boys run around playing sports in your stifling madness! Don't even get me started on the effects suffered by my two ball players! For cryin' out loud, IT.IS.FALL! Start acting like it!

To our DVR, Thank You Very Much for NOT recording Survivor last week. I count on you to know when my favorite show is starting its new season since I had absolutely no idea that it started last week! Before you say "a devoted fan would know," you should know that Survivor is the only CBS show I watch! I haven't seen ANY previews that mentioned a start date. Now I have to get caught up on the Season Premier before I can watch this week's episode and there just aren't enough hours in the day for me to watch 2 episodes in 1 week!

To our local Weather Guessers, Thank You Very Much for telling us that there was a 90% chance of rain last night and today. Those sound like pretty good chances to me, so Where Is The Freaking Rain?

Dais, I don't like putting my contact in a ramekin from the kitchen, Thank You Very Much! **update** After I purchased a new contact case, my original case was found in one of Daisy's purses!!

To the packaging of my new contact case, Thank You Very Much for stating that I should be replacing my contact case EVERY MONTH. Really?!?!  oopsa-daisy! I've had my original case for YEARS!

To DaddyO, Thank You Very Much for sleeping peacefully and quietly until the SECOND I put my head down on my pillow! Trying to sleep with your deafening snores is impossible! Trying to wake you up and move you to a different position is almost as difficult. Can't you control your breathing when you're sound asleep? *wink*  ♥ya!

To DaddyO, Thank You Very Much for ensuring that there is one pair of your black socks in the laundry basket for WHITE clothes only. EVERY WEEK! How in the world do most of your socks manage to make their way in to the "darks" basket except for the one sad pair that is at great risk of being bleached?

To DaisyE, Thank You Very Much for removing the darling outfit that I put on you and exchanging it for this:

Not so cute, Babe! And definitely not appropriate for 100degree heat! The tooth flosser is an attractive touch, though!

To the Walmart Vision Center, Thank You Very Much for FIRST telling me to "wait a little while" before coming in to look at glasses because the store was busy and SECOND, when we showed up, greeting us with a printed out and LAMINATED sign that read: We Are Closed Early Due to a Family Emergency!
All 3 of you had an emergency? Before closing time on a FRIDAY EVENING?!?!
Very Suspicious!!!
We took our business elsewhere, Thank You Very Much! *thumbs in ears, waving hands and sticking out tongue*

To Miss Daisy, Thank You Very Much for waking up, 3 nights in a row, when I sneak in to your room to make sure you are breathing before I go to bed!  And then requiring me to rock you before putting you back in bed! You gotta stop reminding me how wonderful it is to rock my snuggly baby cuz before I know it you will be all grown up and too big or too embarrassed to have your Mama rock you! Don't even think about blaming me! It is a complete accident that I step on the squeaky board just outside your room and that the doorknob creaks a little too loudly when I walk in!

I seriously need some therapy this week! I am going to break the rules a little bit today because this Sunday my baby turns 2! (that was for you Kmama!)

Since I have Daisy and her birthday on the brain, I can only think of one person to thank today!

Miss Daisy, Thank You Very Much for growing up way too fast! For making us enjoy you so much that we want you to stay just as you are now! I know we will enjoy you at every stage in your life, but could you just slow it down a little bit? Trying to keep up with your brothers and sister does not help in the "staying a baby" department, Thank You Very Much!

To the rookies in the parent pick-up line at school, Thank You Very Much. I KNOW there was a flyer given to every parent at meet the teacher night that explained exactly how to pick up your kids. Did you read that? I didn't think so! Let me just fill you in on the most important detail: DO NOT park your car in the middle of the parent pick-up lanes and then GET OUT and go in to the school. You should know that when I see this happen, I will inform the front desk staff immediately and giggle when they announce your license plate # and car description over the loud speaker. Then I will roll down my car windows and laugh as loud as I can as I, and all the other rule followers, watch your 'walk of shame' back to your car!

To spelling word sentences, Thank You Very Much. I did not miss you over the summer! Man, I did not enjoy you when I was in school. And because I decided to put the boys in the same class this year, I now have to help come up with 2 completely different sentences for each spelling word!

To Ashton and Bailey, Thank You Very Much, for thinking it is ok to stay up until 10pm, playing in the dark ON.A.SCHOOL.NIGHT!! It can't be easy for you to make it through a full day of school if you're tired and I do not want to deal with your cranky pants the next day. Starting the night in separate rooms is going to become the new norm if you don't get your butts to sleep!

To the soccer ball, Thank You Very Much for smashing in to Lily's face, sending her glasses flying and leaving her with a purple bruise on her eyelid THE DAY BEFORE SCHOOL PICTURES!

I missed my session last week so I am in desperate need of therapy this week!

To my body, Thank You Very Much for operating better on 3 hours of sleep than you do on 6 hours of sleep. What's up with that? Are you trying to tell me that I should get less sleep than I already do?

To the bug that made Miss Daisy sick all last week, Thank You Very Much for sticking around for our Staycation. YOU owe an apology to 3 families (including ours) who were trying to enjoy dinner and were forced to wittness Daisy throw-up all over herself. OH, and it was very thoughtful of you to see to it that Daisy did not act sick before OR after she threw up. It makes it a little hard for us to tell what is going on when she is singing and dancing 5 minutes after losing her lunch, Thank You Very Much!

To our stupid air conditioner (1 of 2) that decided to break down last weekend, Thank You Very Much! ON.THE.DAY that I had scheduled tag-team babysitters so DaddyO and I could do some school and birthday shopping AND see a movie! I can't very well force the Grandparents to watch my kiddos in sweltering conditions, thank you very much! Get with the program, and just do your job!

To Daisy, Thank You Very Much for making it look like I just let you run wild through the house without keeping a single eye on you!

To my sweet little, hi-speed Miss Daisy, Thank You Very Much for unrolling the ENTIRE roll of toilet paper. There I go again, trying to wash my hands after changing your diaper! Babe, I don't enjoy getting my TP from a massive pile on the floor! Stop it!!

To the the crop duster that began dive bombing the field behind our house before 6am. Thank You Very Much for scaring me awake an entire hour before I needed to wake up! And I especially loved peeking out the window only to see you dive out of sight and then pull-up just in time to miss the school and fly your screaming engine right over my house. That is one crazy job you've got!

To the heat AND humidity, Thank You Very Much. You're gross! For the love, BRING US SOME STORMS!!

I'm sure my screaming and jumping on to the counter was hilarious but it's a little embarrassing to have to be rescued by a 6 year old!

To little Miss Daisy, Thank You Very Much for sneaking in to Lily's room and getting black paint all over your white outfit 1 minute after I got you dressed. Could you please slow down? I need at least 30 seconds to wash my hands after changing your diaper. Mmmm-kay? Love ya!

To the nasty bug that made my Daisy sick, Thank You Very Much! We are on Summer Break! There is NO getting sick during Summer Break! You better not even think about getting anyone else sick!!

To the super intelligent people waiting in line at the Aquatic Center! Why are you all standing in the middle of the parking lot?  I need to drive out of here, Thank You Very Much! There is a perfectly acceptable AND shady sidewalk a few feet away from you. I promise you will all still make it inside even if you skooch over a little!

These silly geese did not disappoint this morning!

I placed Bailey by the back bumper of my car so they wouldn't think I was taking pictures of them. By the front end of my car is the sidewalk!  If someone would just curve the line a little sooner they could all be standing in the shade and I wouldn't have to dodge them on my way out of the parking lot! I realized that the reason they are so hyper about their spot in line isn't because they are afraid they won't get in but because they are trying to make sure they get one of the good chairs, right by the pool! Oh, they make me laugh!

To DaddyO, Thank You Very Much for eating the last piece of cheesecake that I had been waiting to eat ALL day! Please imagine my disappointment when I came downstairs, after getting every one else in bed, to sit in peace and enjoy my dessert only to find it mysteriously missing from the fridge!

Thank you very much to the late night soccer games, talent shows, award assemblies, water days, game days, preparing teacher gifts and many other random end-of-school activities that have made it impossible for me to keep up all of my blog reading this week. I apologize everybody! Today is the last day of school so I am hoping to catch up on Friday........night, since I will be home with my ENTIRE pack-o-kids!

Thank you very much to the ginormous spider that ran across our kitchen floor at lightning speed the other night. Um, I told you if you came in the house you would be sorry! My #1 Protector was right around the corner and immediately rescued me from your eight,very long, hairy legs!

Yay Yay, it's Free Therapy Day!

To the spider that decided to show up while Protector #1 (daddyo) was not home and Protector #2 (bailey) was sound asleep! Thank You Very Much for hiding in the corner and forcing me to throw a hacky sack at you for 5 minutes before you finally fell to the floor so I could squish you with a shoe after chasing you along the edge of the floor! This is a warning to any other disgusting bugs that decide to crawl around inside my house: STAY OUTSIDE.......or you'll be sorry!

To the cold/flu that has made 1 member of the family at a time sick every week for the last four weeks. Thank You Very Much for causing me to spend ridiculous amounts of money on fever reduction medication to help alleviate the whining and crying coming from all my sick kids (including DaddyO).

Thank You Very Much - 5/13/10

It's Free Therapy Day!


First, I would like to thank myself for failing to notice that I had absolutely no gas in my car! This wouldn't have been such a big problem if it were not for the 'below' Thank You. Pay attention, Thank You Very Much.

To the lovelies who arranged the 'Muffins for Moms' get-together at the school. Last year an event with the exact same name was for Mothers and their children, but someone failed to mention that this year it was a 'volunteer appreciation' breakfast. I didn't feed my kids breakfast, Thank You Very Much. So now, I have hungry kids who want donuts, no gas in my car and we have 20 minutes until school starts. Yeah, we're going to be late!

To the 'snowbirds' who are still driving around town, Thank You Very Much for consistently driving 15mph BELOW the speed limit and BREAKING for green lights. It's hot already! Isn't it time for you to go back to the cooler areas you came from?
