If I hadn't been dealing with cute little sickos for a week and if I wasn't so tired, I probably could have come up with a truly profound question. However, I really would love some ideas/help in this area:
What are you giving/have you given for teacher gifts (christmas, end of the year)? I especially need some help with PE Coach gifts!

Sorry to hear about the sick kids. Either way I think it is a great question and I can't wait to see the anwers. Hope everyone is back to being healthy soon!
Ugh! This was always a hard one for me when my kids were little. My sister was always so creative and would make these wonderful gifts for her kid's teachers. I always wound up getting them gift certificates to Borders!
I am just blog hopping but just so happens, if you want great idea, you can suppor this stay at home mom! go to www.mythirtyone.com/simplify and contact my e-mail there..I have great ideas at very good prices...
I'd love to help you dear, but we have no more teachers to buy for here. Good luck.
Sorry the kids are sick, yuk. Oooh, good question, I'd like answers to that myself!
When I taught second grade years and years ago, I liked things that I didn't have to keep. By that I mean things that I may or not need or would sit around taking up space. My husband used to have an aversion to what he called "dust collectors."
I liked receiving food gifts such as homemade Christmas cookies, fudge, banana bread, caramel corn, etc. I appreciated the student thinking of me without getting something that would sit around my house for years. I also liked gift certificates.
For the classroom teacher a gift card to a book store is very appreciated. No coffee mugs or lotion for sure!
I will send you a link tomorrow. This woman on etsy makes personalized bottles of hand sanitizer. They are SO CUTE.
We usually do gift cards..I know i am no help...nothing apple or mugs.
Aren't you sweet to get your kids' teachers gifts! My husband is a teacher and it is always great to see that the parents appreciate him. I know we always appreciate when he gets gift cards to the movie theater. With the movies being so expensive, not to mention the snacks, a gift card is always welcome. Plus they can see whichever movie they want and get whatever snacks they want. So as long as they like to go to a movie once in a a while, I would say this is a good option! Pretty much the only time DH and I go to the movies is when we have a gift card!
Hi! I hope your kids are doing great now.
My answer to the question is
1. a card
2. a gift card, to a restaurant, a supermarket, or a store
Thanks for dropping a line at my blog I do appreciate it much.
I had the same question. I hear a lot of teachers say a gift card for a bookstore or coffee. Christina at Pooh's corner posted a great treat idea to make them. On my THIS AND THAT post I have the link if you want to take a look!
