True Story Tuesday - Kleenex? No Thanks!

So, at our house, we don't usually have kleenex. If anyone needs to blow their nose, we make them use scratchy toilet paper or napkins. We're mean like that!

For Christmas, My Mom gave both DaddyO and me huge packages of kleenex.

She thinks it is cruel and unusual punishment to not have these on hand especially when the kids are sick. She also doesn't think it is attractive to have a red, raw nose/lip. Crazy! I know, right?

Well, since we have all been sick this last week, we have been enjoying the use of the thick, soft kleenex. Our lips are not so chapped and our noses are not on fire! We are VERY grateful for Grandma's thoughtful gift!

Then, the other day, I was reminded why WE DON'T BUY KLEENEX!

Head on over to Once Upon a Miracle for more fabulous true stories!!

I suspected that. In our house it used to wipes and Alyssa would "clean" with them. Too cute. We use tp most of the time too. You have to have that on hand kleenex are optional :)!

She is too cute in her pj's checking out herself in the mirror and seeing what a fine mess she made. This used to happen to us with wipes all the time.

And, we don't buy kleenex either. :)

She is checking herself out in the mirror! HAHA! Miss Daisy is too cute! Um, we don't buy Kleenex either... I'm sure it would end up the same way if we did.

How's that pic of Daisy coming? She sitting still for ya yet? ;)

Oh, I am all about kleenex. Our whole clan was down with the flu for 24 days and we used 26 boxes. I am so against the scratchy red nose. You know it is severe when the hubby brought home a box of puffs with lotion and I kissed him like they were roses.

Ah, your mom is a lady after my own 'nose'. Those are my kleenexes that we always have on hand. Growing up we had to use TP or paper towel. Ouch and yuck. I vowed when I had my own house, we'd have Puffs Plus with Lotion - and we do.

ps...Scout throws them all over too!

lol, that's too cute! I must have a box of puffs OR Kleenex anti-viral on my counter at all times. And Purell. I'm a bit phobic, lol!

So cute! so cute! Thanks for the follow on my other blog too!

These are THE BEST Rx to have on hand for colds! No more red noses from being raw and carbolated vasoline doesn't hurt either :-)

Love Grandma!!!
