True Story Tuesday - Oh BaileyO

I've got a funny story about Bailey! Let's start with a little background info, alrighty?

Bailey is such a good boy (most of the time)! He is also quite handsome! Check out the dimple.

Bailey can be a big helper! The other day, all of the kiddos were fighting over who got to come to Old Navy with me and who had to go with DaddyO to Marshall's (they all know I am a push-over when it comes to their purchase demands). Bailey hung his head and in a sad voice said, "I'll go with Daddy."

Bailey is a great dancer! You can see video here

Bailey is very smart! He makes super cool "contraptions" in the scrapbook room using the cord to the vacuum.

Bailey can be sneaky! A while back, I  posted about how he took my, still new, camera, and took pictures of his room. I didn't know where the pictures had come from until I got to this picture:

So let's re-cap, Bailey is handsome, a good helper, a fabulous dancer, smart and sneaky.
He used to be the one who would always tell the truth. When DaddyO and I would find some trouble bein' made and we would ask, "WHO DID THIS?!" If he was responsible, Bailey would raise his hand and confess.

And now I have a very troubling quality to add to his list of attributes!

Over the weekend he was getting in trouble for lying about something. I said "Bailey, you HAVE GOT to stop lying. If you lie noone will believe you when you are telling the truth!"

And He Said (with a darling sweet smile on his face):

"I can't help it, Mom! I just LOVE to lie!"

What?!?!

OH man, I'm in trouble!

Now you should go visit Once Upon a Miracle for more true stories!

He did NOT?!?! Oh my my (as Itty Bit would say).

Our little guy hasn't really figured out lying yet - he takes after his mama in that it just doesn't come naturally. (Which meant that I got in a whole lot more trouble than my sister growing up, LOL).

He is one handsome little guy - at least he came clean about liking to lie, right?

Cute kid, cute story. You can also add to his attributes a good sense of humor.
