Not Worthy Of IHF But Good Enough For Me Monday

Well, I've decided that I just can not take another rejection from Iheartfaces! The competition is just too fierce, the photographers TOO professional! I'm just removing myself from DreamLand and realizing that I need a little more practice! So, I am going to copy their theme but forego submitting my photos for their judgement. I really like the days when I can add to my Post tally without having to flex my brain muscles.  This weeks theme is Dramatic Black and White Photo and I happen to have photos just waiting in my My Pictures folder (making this post even easier).

Not too dramatic, but this photo was taken with actual Black and White Film when Lily was about 6 months old. I had to scan it so the quality is not as good as IRL.

Then I took pictures of all the other kiddos at the same age. All of their shots are hanging in our bathroom.

You can see more of Daisy's photoshoot here.

I bet your bathroom looks so cute filled with all those beautiful children.

Gosh, they are adorable. The first 3 could be the same baby... and then there's Miss Daisy and that personality! She just makes me smile! :)

I am totally sad that you got bummed out by doing IHF. I usually get some free advice and some nice comments... and girlie - your pictures are beyootiful!

And of course it helps that you have beautiful models, and they were small enough at that time not to run away screaming (oh wait... that's only MY kid? Sorry)

I love the photos - don't be harsh on yourself at all (there were nearly 700 entries by the time I linked up today, and I know many of them are professional. It's still nice to have people leave kind words and advice!)

Have a wonderful day with your super cute models!

I'm frustrated with IHF too. I have a great "moody" photo, but I'm only contemplating submitting it. There are SO MANY entries this week. I will never be good enough for their contests.

Those are great photos!! I love that you have them all in your bathroom. How cool!!

Those photos are absolutely darling! I didn't even realize how fiercely competitive that was. I'm not even remotely worthy of visiting their blog.

You on the other hand ARE!

I have the same issue with IHF. I love it but I feel that I cannot even come close to competing. I love all of these photos though and I also love that they are in your bathroom. very nice.

I love that you had the forethought to take these photos of every baby. Precious! And I bet they look great in your bathroom.

I'm sorry about IHF. I know we've already talked about it. Maybe one day you'll be encouraged to enter again.

I know I would never win...so I just never enter!
Those pictures looks like total in-the-bag winners to me though!

I must admit I agree with you.. I post pictures there sometimes and think, yes this is the one that will at least get recognized.. and nothing.

Maybe we should start our own ;)

Very beautiful pictures
