Thank You Very Much - 5/13/10

It's Free Therapy Day!

First, I would like to thank myself for failing to notice that I had absolutely no gas in my car! This wouldn't have been such a big problem if it were not for the 'below' Thank You. Pay attention, Thank You Very Much.

To the lovelies who arranged the 'Muffins for Moms' get-together at the school. Last year an event with the exact same name was for Mothers and their children, but someone failed to mention that this year it was a 'volunteer appreciation' breakfast. I didn't feed my kids breakfast, Thank You Very Much. So now, I have hungry kids who want donuts, no gas in my car and we have 20 minutes until school starts. Yeah, we're going to be late!

To the 'snowbirds' who are still driving around town, Thank You Very Much for consistently driving 15mph BELOW the speed limit and BREAKING for green lights. It's hot already! Isn't it time for you to go back to the cooler areas you came from?

Visit Kmama for your free therapy session!

*REMINDER* The theme for the next Monday Mugs is: Flowers

LOL @ breakfast! Nice of them to let you know!

We get snowbirds usually in Jan/Feb. and their driving habits make me crazy. Right now we're usually in full-on tourist season (and they make me crazy too), but people are already canceling condo's for the summer left and right. Might have a quiet summer... bad for my parents' business, though. :(

i hate mornings too...espcially ones like these!! I HATE to pump gas...personally I think all stations should go back to full service :) Like in Mayberry hehe

I've had a bad morning for the last 5 days or so. WTH is that all about???
I also have an aversion to putting gas in my car. I will drive until I have about 1/2 a teaspoon left in the tank. For some reason in my mind I think I'm getting my money's worth if I use it all. I need to grasp the fact that if I have some left in the tank it's less I have to put in.

LOL...snowbirds are a pain!

Winter Texans aren't very fun either.

I hate when my gas tank is on empty. One of my least favorite chores is putting gas in the car.

Growing up in S. Texas we had what we called Winter Texans (old people from the northern states who come to the warm during winter), and they driver super slow!!

Hungry kids + no gas + no time for breakfast = YIKES!!!!!!!!

So basically you want to send all the Michganders back to my state, huh? I don't want them. LOL

Sorry about the gas, the muffins, etc. Why would they name the event the same thing? Grr.

Thanks for linking up (even if you forgot). ;-)

You sound like me with no gas, I am always running low somehow. Please don't send those snowbirds back here to Colorado. Can't they stay just a little longer??

Oh my gosh...are you kidding me about the muffins for moms?
were you late?
I am always low on gas...well actually I don't ever know because my gauge doesn't work. Thank you very much. Grrr. But when I fill up...it costs alot and takes many many gallons. LOL Running on fumes all the time.

I was always so happy to see the snowbirds go, made grocery shopping and driving much more pleasant. And yeah I thought most of them left around tax time.

Ack - why does the car suddenly chug gas when you are the most strapped for time?!?!

And UGH - I am grumpy when I'm hungry - sorry about that mixed up breakfast!
